MouseLaunch is fully tested in Windows Server 2008/R2, Windows 7, Vista, XP and compatible with small and large font desktop setting (MouseLaunch at custom-sized font desktop does not work properly). MouseLaunch requires the Tahoma font that is included in most Windows.

1-1. Install

Log on as an administrator, run setup to install. Once the MouseLaunch installed, it is registered as a start-up program.

1-2. Uninstall

If you want to uninstall MouseLaunch, shut down running MouseLaunch first by right-clicking on the tray icon, select Shutdown MouseLaunch,

Select Uninstall MouseLaunch from Start > Programs > MouseLaunch menu or you can also uninstall it from Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

Even if you uninstall MouseLaunch, the data file used will not be deleted. You can access the data file folder by selecting tray menu > Open Data Folder.

1-3. Update

To update current MouseLaunch with a new version, shut down currently running MouseLaunch (see above), uninstall, install new setup.

If you have any problems with updating, try to uninstall existing MouseLaunch, reboot PC and install again.

Existing customers: Please do not update with the trial version. The trial version is completely different with the registered version and you need to update with the registered version. Please contact us to get update instructions.

2-1. Activation & Launching

Hold down SHIFT key when you activate and the SHIFT section will be activated directly.

2-2. File Registration

System icons (i.e. Internet Explorer, My Documents, My Computer icons in the desktop) are not available to register directly. Find short-cut file of the same program in the Start menu or create a short-cut file and register it.

MouseLaunch accepts up to 48 file registrations - Normal section (center, left, right) + Shift section (center, left, right).

2-3. Changing Section

* Once the MouseLaunch activated, you can switch to the SHIFT section by pressing SHIFT key. You can also use the Scroll Wheel to change to the SHIFT section (by pressing), to the left/right section (by scrolling).

  • Pressing Scroll Wheel Button
If you press down the wheel button, Normal <-> Shift section change will be performed. This means that you can change to the Shift section without pressing the SHIFT key.
  • Scrolling

Scrolling wheel will change the section to the Left or Right. By default, if you scroll down, section will be changed to the left direction. (Scroll up will change the section to the right direction)

You can change this direction by selecting Options > Reverse scroll direction.

  • Tilting

Tilting action is same with the Scrolling. It changes the section to the left or right. By default, it is disabled. If you wish to use this action, please turn it on in the option window.

Please note that not all Wheel Mouse support this action.

3-1. Empty

To remove registered file, right-click on the panel, select Empty.

The original file will not be removed.

3-2. Move, Exchange

To move the file on a panel to a different panel, right-click on the panel, select Move > Panel Number.

If the destination panel is already occupied, MouseLaunch will ask you to select overwrite or exchange.

Moving and exchanging is available only in a same section.

3-3. Connect

Connecting enables you to launch two or more files simultaneously.

If you connect, the connected panel number will be displayed in the panel.

If you launch panel 1 file, the panel 6 file will be launched simultaneously.

3-4. Properties

Properties

Properties displays basic File Properties provided by the Windows for files, edit dialog box for special panels - Emailer, Text Clipboard.

3-5. Special Panel Registration

If you right-click on an empty panel, you can add special panels - Emailer, Text Clipboard.

Emailer

This enables you to register email addresses, launch 'Compose' window of the default email client program quickly.

To edit Emailer, right-click on the Emailer panel, select Properties.

Text Clipboard

This enables you to register multi-line text to be copied to the clipboard when you launch the panel.

To edit Text Clipboard, right-click on the Text Clipboard panel, select Properties.
