1. System requirements
To use Download Router, Microsoft .NET 2.0 or later must be installed. If you see an error message on the program start-up, you need to install one.

2. Selecting download folder

It is important that you must select one folder (e.g., C:\....\Downloads) and make your browser always save files to that folder. Download Router is not specific to web browsers and you can use FTP client or explorer to download, copy files to the folder.

3. Creating, editing move handlers
Move handler contains file types, destination folder, rename option to manage downloaded files.



Note:
- In the middle of monitoring, you cannot create or edit a handler.
- Trial version accepts only 1 move handlers.

4. Start monitoring
After you select a download folder and create handlers, it is time to start monitoring.

5. Log view

You can check the status of process via this Log window to confirm the files are moved correctly. By the way, in the middle of downloading a large file, it is possible that you can see some error messages. However, program will handle and recover it automatically when the download finishes.

6. Running Duplicate Remover
Duplicate Remover helps you remove copies (same content but different file name) in a folder. When the program found duplicates, it will be moved to the Recycle Bin and you can check what files are deleted.

Note: Trial version does not allow a folder that contains over 20 files.
