When you download a file from a site, save to a specific folder, Download Router catches the file creation, move it to specific folders automatically as you defined in the program.
- File name conflict handling
When a file moved to a defined folder, it is possible that the same file name already exist (e.g. Most TGP sites host images as 001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg, ...). Download Router checks the actual contents of the file, if it has same contents, it is ignored and deleted not to make a same copy. If it is not same, Download Router renames downloaded file and save it to the folder.
It is possible that you have several same content files with different file names. Download Router offers Duplicate Remover that you can easily remove duplicate files in a folder. Duplicate Remover checks the actual contents of files, move duplicates to the Recycle Bin.
